THE FIVE OF PENTACLES | Its Positive Meaning
This post is brought you by Psychic Readings of Portland After receiving many questions about this particular Tarot card, I am back with another post dedicated to it!- This card is kind of contradictory, it has been assigned a very negative meaning, but the card is much more than what the image is showing and has a more positive outlook, if you take a deeper look. The picture exudes negative and low emotions. There are two people poorly dressed, walking on a road and it is possible to see that is is raining and/or snowing, it is cold outside and one of the persons is walking on crutches, who may have some kind of health challenge while from a window clear abundance can be seen in the symbol of gold coins, an abundance that belongs only to the blessed people who live in that house. So the powerful obvious message here is LACK. But the deeper meaning of this card is a bit different. This card on one hand is acknowledging that you may be experiencing some kind of lack, maybe health challenges, and feeling always tired and without energy. Also you may be doubting your real values, having self-esteem crisis and buying into a false idea that you are not good enough and so draw the conclusion that you will never be able to experience all the abundance that others are experiencing, the abundance that you came here to experience, which is your birthright. But it wants you to understand that these lacks are temporary. Material abundance, spiritual support, and the solutions, are close, around you, but you are failing to see them. It can also let you notice that you may be refusing to take care of yourself, wanting to be in this state of illusory lack, in a victim mentality. The advice here is very powerful: to look for the power within, the inner essence, the inner self, the spiritual divine center that will give you shelter, the powerful inner center where there is an infinite, invisible radiant energy, an infinite invisible supply that creates worlds and which the entire Universe as been created from. It is encouraging you to shift your false beliefs and images about money and abundance. It encourages you to strip money of any meaning you have assigned to and see it just as a symbol.
And to acknowledge instead the infinite invisible energy withing yourself and your consciousness. Do not look outside yourself, the solution resides within you and not outside
It is an invitation to accept that money, material abundance, does not have any meaning or power, that you can be without money. To accept that you cannot be without infinite invisible supply and that you have this infinite invisible supply within yourself and so there is no reason for you to ever experience lack, but to surrender and allow this infinite invisible supply to always take care of you, and provide you with an abundant life! Positive Meaning of the III of Swords I have received lots of requests to review one of the most negative cards, in the Tarots, so in this post I am going to focus the III of Swords. This card also is bit controversial, it has been assigned an extreme negative meaning, but has a less pessimistic outlook, if explored below the surface. Looking at the image, this card does not inspire any good emotions, it shows a big red heart, the color of blood, which enhances even more the negative in it, and three swords piercing it, it clearly gives you the idea of a terribly broken heart, it can suggest separation, suffering, pain, abandonment, rejection, divorce and so on. But if this card appears in your reading, first, I would encourage you not to draw rushy assumptions, then have a deeper look at it and also take into consideration the context in which the card appears. Contrary to what most believe, the III of Swords carries a very powerful healing message that has nothing to do with the general meaning of "separation" that has usually been assigned to it. It is pointing to the fact that there is something that needs to be healed, in your life or in your energy. That now, it is the right time to heal and this card is giving you hints about where the healing needs to be done. It also suggest that you might be experiencing some physical discomfort or some emotional issues or some unnecessary fear about something that needs to happen where there might be no need to be afraid, this card is warning you that you need to see the bright side in everything and that underneath the clouds there is still sunshine. But the most powerful message in this card is that what ever you might be experiencing, at this moment, it has to do with something negative, some sorrow you experienced in the past, way back to your childhood when you were 3 years old. So it is trying to suggest that in order to free your self- you need to let go your tendency to rework old bones, you need to break a possible old family pattern, or a tendency to hold to grudges from the past, that are destructive and no longer serve you. Some strong emotions when you were a child, did not get the chance to be expressed and processed, so they were stored in the basement of your mind so to say and became a negative pattern that is running in the background, coming up to surface each time similar emotions of fear are triggered. So first it is suggesting that in order for healing to happen, since those emotions never got processed, you could start by remembering them, acknowledging them and expressing them, such maybe if you did not grieve enough, so let yourself grieve, or cry or just acknowledge some emotions you did not express at that time, maybe you were not allowed to speak or to cry then, so just acknowledge those emotions to complete the cycle. If you have any question or have other suggestions about this card, I would like to read them, please post your comments, Positive Meaning in Negative Cards: In this post I would like to talk about some specific Tarot cards, which are mostly misunderstood, people have attributed a rather too negative and gloomy interpretation to these card, causing the whole context of a reading to have a unjustified negative meaning/result. I 'd like to start with, the Major Arcana card called DEATH, to minimize the dark and fear-based reputation assigned to this wonderful card. If the Death card comes up in your reading, first of all pay respect, then feel grateful to have received such a highly blessed insight. Secondly, rather than being afraid that something terrible might happen to you, or that your romance may end, or that there might be an end to something you like, ...cheer up, since this important card, most often indicates that a negative, stagnant, really hard and negative period or condition in your life, which does not have any life and which has made you suffer enough.....is finally about to end!!! And that a new brighter, happier and positive phase, full of blessings, is about to begin for you! It means you are finally going to get unstuck and move on toward the manifestation of your heart's desires! At Portland Tarot Readings we can't imagine something more positive and uplifting than that and would wish this card would appear at least once in your reading. When the Fool appears, it is an encouragement to be happy, it indicates that life is going to be good for you, in the near future, and you should have faith in life and the Universe and above all in yourself It also is a strong advice to just be who you really are and not be afraid to do so, to respect who you are, in all aspects, to honor your true nature, to listen to your hear, and that you are in fact on the right path! The Devil is also a good and very meaningful card, its message is that you are worrying too much and and that you tend to have an unnecessary bondage to fear and that you tend to create chains to fear around your aura and being, and make yourself slave to low emotions, even when there is no reason to, but that you are the only one who has the power to break this bondage and chains, by letting go of your fear and trust and surrender to the unconditional loving Universe and by allowing it to nurture and take care of you. However, the meaning of each card varies every different contest.
If the Tower shows up in your reading, it is a good news: The Tower, even if the image can be deceiving, and indicate disasters or terribly bad news, most of the time it indicates that an unexpected event that will catch you by surprise, will occur and which will dramatically change your life for the best!!! This event will give life to a totally new perspective of things!! This event may look like disruptive at start, but is happening because is needed, and it will take you to a much better place than where you have been so far, in a dramatic way You will feel great release that you have finally been forced in a new direction, and be released from a stuck situation!! So find the positive in it. Since it really can be compared to a kind of a Wrong Turn that will cause you to end up in the Land of Oz, the Emerald City!!! There is a powerful positive side to this seemingly negative event! In conclusion, Tarots cards do not offer any negative meaning at all, it is all up to the interpreter to perceive the reading as negative, or to interpret it in the correct way. Tarots are a tool of spiritual guidance and they should be considered like some kind of tiny Guardian Angels in a material format, they only offer guidance and unconditional loving advice and admonitions, in an nurturing and non-judgmental way, and yes, sometime, they need to be very honest with you and make you notice what you are not able to see by yourself, in order to allow you to open your eyes, wake up, and see the real blocks that are keeping you from experience what you came here to! At Portland Tarot Readings we consider extremely important the act of carefully choosing a psychic counselor who is not only a gifted psychic but also very knowledgeable about the art of the Tarots and who has extended experience using this sacred tool correctly, or you may end adding unnecessary fear, worries and stress to your doubts and questions, rather than receiving understanding, clarity and serenity, which we think is the purpose of having a psychic reading!. |
